Safe Sleep Space Resources

Safe Sleep Space offers a better understanding of needs, communication and capacities of babies and toddlers. Safe Sleep Space provides a “step-by-step” guide to workable strategies so an emotional safe sleep space can be created.

With an emphasis on parent interaction and the need to offer support to sleepless babies and toddlers, the Safe Sleep Space approach helps families with sleep and settling.

The strategies involve responding to individual baby and toddler cries and communication.  With this in mind; no forms of Controlled Crying, Modified Controlled Comforting or Cry It Out techniques are required to achieve lasting healthy sleep patterns for the entire family.

The Safe Sleep Space DVD’s (Baby 0-12 months or Toddler 1-3 years) and Book (Ed 2012) will help you understand more about your baby and toddler- including:

  • Feed / Play / Sleep Patterns
  • Sleep / Conscious States
  • Sleep Associations
